Artist Spotlight: Lily Haron

Updated: Apr 28, 2020

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself:

A: My name’s Lily, I’m 18, and I’m going to FIDM next year and I’m majoring in graphic design. I really like skating and the skate scene and pop culture. I’ve been drawing pretty much my entire life and living in California has really influenced that. I’m so excited to move to LA!

Q: How has your style evolved to what it is today?

A: I worked at a skate shop for about a year and then I transitioned to working at Brandy Melville, which made me see a lot of different styles and meet a lot of different people. That sort of forced me to talk to a lot of them and I kind of just gathered a lot of different styles from that which made me really into the pop culture scene and want to be a part of it.

Q: What are your future plans in regards to your art?

A: I want to start a business where I design a variety of different things, like phone cases, bags, clothing. I want it to be a really big thing in California. I plan on being part of someone else’s brand while making my own at the same time.
